During her headline concert in Munich, Germany on August 31, Adele made an exciting announcement to her fans that she plans to end her current residency and take an extended break. I have spent the past seven years building a new life for myself, and now I want to live it.”




Expressing her appreciation to her fans, Adele continued, “Thank you so much for coming to each of my events and being there. I know I’m not the most comfortable performer out there, but I’m pretty good at what I do, and I’ve really enjoyed performing these past years. It’s the longest show I’ve ever done—almost three years in a row—and it’s probably the longest show I’ve ever done. There are ten more shows left, all part of my residency. After that, I’m planning on taking a necessary break. I won’t see you for a very long time, but I will carry the memories of these games with me. I want to fully embrace and enjoy the new life I have created. I miss you all very much, but I will forever give peace to these shows.”



Adele's concert in Munich was originally intended to be the final show of her tour. However, due to a few rescheduled dates, the tour will now end with a stay in Las Vegas in November.
